All times are Central Time (CT). Each submission period and each voting period begins at 12:00:01 a.m. CT on its first date and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CT on its last date. A photo belongs to the Contest for the period in which it was submitted, not the date the animal was harvested.

3. Who Can Enter

The Contests are open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, excluding Florida, New York, and Rhode Island, who are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their state if higher (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi), at the time of entry.

The following are not eligible: Sponsor; Sponsor's immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their spouses) and people living in Sponsor's household; and anyone involved in running or administering the Contests.

Youth hunters: a parent or legal guardian may submit a photo of a youth hunter. The parent or guardian is the entrant, and any prize is awarded to the parent or guardian.

4. How to Enter

  • Submit a photo through the Braggin' Board form at https://huntingranchresearch.com/bragginboard-entry-form. Entry is free.

  • Every approved Braggin' Board photo is automatically entered in the Contest for the period in which it was submitted.

  • Limit one (1) photo per person per Contest. If you submit more than one photo during a period, the first approved photo is your Contest entry, unless you tell Sponsor before voting opens which photo you want entered. Your other photos still appear on the Braggin' Board.

  • Photos submitted during a voting period appear on the Braggin' Board right away but are entered in the next Contest. Photos submitted after January 17, 2027 are not entered in a Contest.

  • Photos must meet the Photo Standards in Section 5.

5. Photo Standards

Photos must:

  • have been taken by the entrant, or be submitted with the right to submit them;

  • show only animals lawfully harvested under the laws of the state where they were taken;

  • not be altered in a way that misrepresents the animal;

  • not be AI-generated;

  • not be copied or taken from another person or source.

Duplicate photos are not allowed. Only the first valid submission of a photo counts. Sponsor may reject any photo that is inappropriate, offensive, or unsafe, or that shows unlawful or unethical hunting practices. Rejected photos are not entered.

6. Voting

  • Voting takes place through the voting form linked at https://huntingranchresearch.com/photo-contest.

  • Anyone may vote, of any age and from any location. Voters do not have to be entrants, and voting does not make a person eligible for a prize.

  • Each person may vote once per Contest. Voters must provide an email address or phone number.

  • Sponsor will review votes before counting them and may exclude duplicate votes; votes made by bots, scripts, or fake accounts; and votes that are bought, sold, or traded for anything of value.

  • Entrants may ask friends and family to vote. An entrant who buys votes or uses automated voting may be disqualified.

  • Likes, comments, and shares on social media do not count as votes. Only votes submitted on the voting form count.

7. Winners

  • In each Contest, the entry with the most valid votes wins 1st place. The entries with the next-highest vote totals win 2nd and 3rd place.

  • Ties: if entries are tied for a place, the tie will be broken by a recorded spin of an online random selection tool among the tied entries. The recording will be posted publicly.

  • Vote totals for every entry will be posted with the results.

  • Sponsor's decisions are final.

Prizes are awarded "as is," cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a listed prize becomes unavailable. The firearm prize terms in Section 6 of The Data Buck Sweepstakes Official Rules also apply to any firearm prize in these Contests.

Sweepstakes bonus: each top-three finish also earns one (1) entry in The Data Buck Sweepstakes, under its Official Rules at https://huntingranchresearch.com/data-buck-sweepstakes-rules.

9. Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted by one or more of the following: phone, email, Facebook Messenger, Instagram direct message, or a public announcement.

A winner must respond within seven (7) days of notification and must return a signed Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where allowed by law) Publicity Release, plus an IRS Form W-9 if required, within seven (7) days of receiving them.

If a winner does not respond, cannot be verified as eligible, or does not return the required forms on time, the prize is forfeited and the entry with the next-highest vote total moves up to that place.

Sponsor will never ask a winner for payment, bank information, or a fee to claim a prize. Report impersonators to data@huntingranchresearch.com.

10. Taxes

Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on their prizes. A winner who receives prizes from Sponsor with a total ARV of $2,000 or more in a calendar year must provide a Form W-9 and will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC.

11. Photo License, Publicity, and Privacy

  • Entrants keep ownership of their photos. By entering, each entrant grants Sponsor the license described in Section 10 of The Data Buck Sweepstakes Official Rules, which includes use in artificial intelligence research and development and in Sponsor's marketing.

  • Approved photos stay on the Braggin' Board permanently. To request removal, email data@huntingranchresearch.com.

  • Except where prohibited by law, winners agree that Sponsor may use their name, city, state, and photo in advertising and promotion, without further compensation.

  • Personal information, including the email address or phone number given by voters, is handled under Sponsor's Privacy Policy athttps://huntingranchresearch.com/privacy-policy. Sponsor does not sell personal information.

12. General Conditions

Sponsor may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry or voting process, violates these rules, or acts in a fraudulent or disruptive way. If a Contest cannot run as planned because of fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond Sponsor's control, Sponsor may cancel, modify, or suspend it.

By entering, entrants release Sponsor and Prize Providers from any claims arising from participating in a Contest or from accepting or using a prize.

The Contests are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta, YouTube, or Google. Entrants and voters release those companies from all liability related to the Contests.

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Victoria County, Texas.

To get a list of winners, email data@huntingranchresearch.com or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Sponsor address by March 31, 2027.
